Hi all, I would like to do some pen testing with a pentest distro, but most use virtual box. Is there a way to boot a PC that is on my network and test it with a seperate PC?
Thanks,

Inventor1
I am not sure but I think CMD shutdown command can boot computers over network!
Why not boot it normally?
What do you meen by booting normally? I want two pcs, one the pentester distro, and the other booted off a vuln live cd. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Yes I don't see why it wouldn't be possible as long as you have 2 pc's.
you should be able to boot them normally as stated above
Ok, I will try it, thanks.
Would you reccomend a good linux, or windows vulnerable distro for the other pc?

Thank you!

Do you need to run it off of live-cd? Can't you just dual-boot?
