Good contribution, this thread helps me gain interest in Linux.
I learned a lot and I think I'm going to try it on one of my older computers.
Thanks for this, will help me out
I'm planning to make a permanent switch from Windows to Linux. For now, I play around with it on a small partition in my laptop. Should I use it after being well-versed with programming languages, or should I use Linux to learn them? As of now, I only use VB. I'm a total, total noob in python, and I am yet to study others.
Nice thread mate. Should help Linux beginners.
Nice thread dude Thumbsup

Great thread. I remember when I first made the switch to Linux quite awhile ago. All I even use anymore.
Nice intro.

I would use it but I have everything on my PC and I am used to Windows 7 right now...
