Full Version: Installing Spotify on Ubuntu!

Before we begin I must say that is only available for Premium or Unlimited users.


Lets begin!

Step one: Editing the sources.list to allow the update from Spotify. Type in terminal:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list (Make a backup if you want to.)


Step two: add this repository at the end of the list:
deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free


We should now have something that looks like this:

Step three: Save the file.

Step four: run in terminal sudo apt-get update.

Step five: run in terminal sudo apt-get install spotify-client-qt spotify-client-gnome-support

Step six: Hit y when prompted.

Step seven: You're done! Spotify can now be accessed from the applications folder or searching for it.
