No, but there is always more problem then Xbox Live. I've heard a lot of them. Anyways, it's not the time to make a war thread.

I've never experienced any problems playing online until this incident. Yeh, sometimes the host disconnects whilst I'm playing, but very rarely. Xbox may be better online than the PS3, but not so much that I'd bother paying for it. Tongue

Microsoft be rippin you off! ;)
I hate anonymous now ,why would they ddos PSN ...if they don't like Sony just don't buy their products ,don't piss off 5 million(or more) users !
I know that anynomous ddosed the store but are they ddosing the network too?

It works out to 4 dollars a month for xbox live, assuming you buy a year for 50 bucks, so not really a big expense, plus the price difference for the actual console, the PS3 has came down a fair bit but at launch it was what? 650-700 dollars or something absurd like that?

Either way, not trying to start a huge argument, one wonders how many people are involved to tackle a network capable of handling millions of users at a given time.

Maybe google's next?
I guess Sony figured out the power of DDOSing first hand. The hard way.
Sucks for us PS3 owners, but I'm taking this as an oppurtunity to play single player games like iNFAMOUS.
I can't remember where I read this, but apparently it's up today for people in Japan, and for EU & the US, it will be up tomorrow.

Google is a much larger company online than Sony, so I don't think they will be as easy to attack.
But I agree, it is a very impressive take down on such a popular & huge company.
I bet whoever did this is laughing their socks off.
I love how people are blaming them for getting attacked xD

I think people were more annoyed at how little information they gave about what was actually going on.
Thankfully now everything seems to be out in the open, and it should be back up fairly soon.
