This may be an odd request.. but I want to become a white hat, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any books that inform you how malware works? I'm not looking for general scattered information that I can find by a quick 2 second search. I mean a full book that described the history, failures, successes and just everything about how they work. All the technical stuff in one book.

I've tried google searches but nothing came up that was useful...
You won't becuase it is always changing, and most books if they were created will not help you any, plus 99% of them are super outdated, they might mention malware but chances are they will not mention adware, spyware, or pornware. You might find one, but it is going to take some time I think.

Alright thank you, I'll keep looking but will keep this thread open in case someone may know one.
