We went to a cat adoption house and bought a cat a few years ago.
Bought one of course. It's not really mine though.
I bought my guinea pig at a pet store.
Dog: My mom and i bought it because we missed our old dog when we moved to the USA.
Cat: We saw it roaming around the community and adopted it.
One of my dogs actually ran up to our deck and we ended up keeping him. We used to live out in the country so we didn't live super close to anybody.
Our other dog was part of a litter from one of my mom's co-workers.
I found my dog, a papillon and chihuahua mix, while I was jogging around my neighborhood three years a go. He had no collar so we checked him for a chip and he didn't have one so we adopted him. He's a cute thing.
I Purchased my dog (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) six months ago from an Animal shelter, it came from a bad background as it was seized from a Puppy farm with over three hundred dogs living in extremely poor conditions, the person whom I purchased it from said around fifty of those dogs had to be put down due to their bad state.
My first cat we got for free in Qatar. His names Smokie.

My other cat (Chutney) was found in a ditch in a bin bag, and she is an even little thing.
My sisters boyfriend bought us our Bunny, and my mom brought home a Cat from her friends house when we were young.
I also had a bunch of gold fish here and there that we would get from our grandparents. lol
My only cat was obtained via a woman who lived out of the back of her car. It is old as hell.
