Pidgin (and possibly Empathy) can handle your Yahoo Messenger problems. As far as Skype, go to their website and download the Linux Ubuntu .deb package. Shouldn't be to hard to work out.

Yes.. currently i used that. So now nothing problem for skype.. Upgrading to Beta version. Thanks dude.. almost 2 year.
