They're not your best friends if they know the harm they're doing to you and won't stop.
Ask them nicely, tell them it's not funny, if not, you can find better friends who appreciate you.

Why shouldn't he worry? These people are his supposed friends, so its NOT okay.
He should take action and stick up for himself, not take crap from his 'best friends'.
You should avoid them, make new friends or actually tell them about it. They might not know you're not liking the jokes. Although I rarely got made fun of for race, I used to think I was fat because I was built taller and bigger than a lot of the popular kids. Kids are cruel and they give you a complex when it's not even necessary. The good news is that high school makes it a lot easier to get away from people like that, to reinvent yourself and to decide who you want to be. Luckily most other kids are focused on the same thing for themselves, so they won't have as much energy to focus their jokes on you. Plus there's a lot more kids. Not saying high school will be the greatest, just that it gets better from where you're at. The tough stuff is ahead, just different and new stuff.

I'm what you would call an "asian" also, but what I do is make a long speech about what is asian. I go like
"There are more than just China & Indian in Asia, the word Asian isn't even a word anymore. It's slang for the word chink being that what is the population of China & Indian, so most people think that's what an "AZN" is. But you're wrong, firstly there are White people in Asian [The continent] , which are Russian, and there are Middle Easterns, and also Southern East. We all have different skin tones so we're all different unlike other races, where happen to be Caucasian, Black and also Hispanic most which share the same skin tone. So there is no AZN racist

After that is done in like 5 breaths, they basically shut their face. If you like just say something like that and prove them wrong everytime they say it. Make them regret what they say and how they say it. And prove them that if they're Caucasian, Black or Hispanic that most of them share the same skin tone like I've stated there.
