Just wondering if the site was down for everyone today, or just a few people? Also wondering the reason behind it?

Seemed down for me as well. I was experiencing a "Temporary Unavailable" page.
Yes and it had an error correct?
It was a 403 page for me with a "http config" error

httpd.conf needed to be rebuilt, I noticed this too.
Pretty much down for me too.
