Did you check the IP addresses though? How much do they differ between the spammer accounts?

Yeah, you can get country names from IP addresses here: http://www.ip2country.cc/

It's not hard to ban a country. I would only do that for places like Egypt and other smaller areas like that though. The chances of the spammer being from one of those smaller areas on the world though is still fairly small too though.

I'd suggest disallowing any services like mailinator.

That and if things get*that* bad you can probably find a list of
VPN/Proxy services that people might use and block those

You can't guess who would be visiting your site if you block countries. Chances are they are from USA, CAN, or somewhere in the UK. The important people includes everyone that visits your forum, and if people can't register they aren't as important to your site. It's not the solution

Recruiting some moderators can help if you don't have any of them yet. They can patrol around like cops.

Doesn't MyBB have a plugin to filter spam ?

I thought so, but if not I would hire some moderators.

If you have Recaptcha their isn't much more you can do...
