I wish they had pokemon for the computer, that would be legit.

You can use emulators to play pokemon on your pc.

The DSi should use its camera to identify if the player is a boy or a girl, but it would probably make a lot of mistakes and people would get angry.

i played pokemon on the game boy advanced back in the day
