I always do a few warm up games on Halo 3 before I start searching Matchmaking.
Not really. Just play against someone better than you. You learn from others.
If by game you also mean games IRL, then yes. I practice as hard as possible for football season. Can't wait. Everyday I have lifting till 5, then when schools out; it's every Tuesday and Thursday, then...Football Season.
Playing against Bots in any game is plain stupid, if you want to get good at it. Since bots have a limit on how good they can get, and they don't have human precision and reactiontime/timing, it makes your skill limited to how the bots are.
For example: CS 1.6, i've played that for a while before. Bots aren't a good way to get good at the game.
It's like PvE (Player versus Enviroment) in WoW, you can't get good in PvP by playing PvE.

Of course you need to play against different people online to get better. But yeah, playing against bots is a good start, but not if you want to get much better.
Nah, the methods in Solo mode don't even help but just teach you the controls. The only way you'd actually learn is by playing against one another and seeing which weapon is your best bet.

Also, I don't really care what my score is, I just can't be in the bottom. I have to be in the top 4.~
yup i agree practice makes perfect in some games like racing games which i play a lot
I practiced the crap out of Halo 3, I still suck.
