If you live with your parents - try asking them to buy you one. I've done that and it worked out quite well, I've just got it last week and I'm enjoying mine quite well. If you're on your own, look into a job! An income can never hurt.

If you live in the UK, you can always just get stuff off Free Cycle, and then sell it on Ebay?
Occasionally you can find really nice good quality stuff on Free Cycle.
