Totally agree with that statement, Oblivion is one of my favorite RPG's ever.
Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion
It's unmatchable.
Second would be Fable - The lost chapters. I loved it maybe as much as Oblivion. Its graphics are far worse than Oblivion, but it sufficiently makes up with awesome music & gameplay.
I'll forever miss those 2 games.
I also loved this game called FEAR. It can't be counted in my favorites, but it's the most adrenaline rising RPG I've met.
Dragon Age Origins its great game.

World Of Warcraft is probably the best out of them.
WoW, Ragnarok , Runescape
I still haven't found a nice RPG gmae, even though I like the caterogy.
