Hey people,

I´m going to buy a few new thinks for my computer and I´d like to ask you: What do you think about this components?

Board:
MSI 790FX-GD70

Processor:
AMD Phenom II X4 965

RAM:
GeIL DIMM 6 GB DDR3-1333 Tri-Kit

Graphic card:
Sparkle GTX260 Plus

For the OS I´d like to buy Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

And I have a Antec 850W TruePower Quattro power adaptor.

What do you think?

hey this could be a tough combination, especially the RAM of 6GB, what's the size of the proccessor in hertz that will determine the combination of them all.................. i guess you are trying to clone and that's my next study at school............................ give a reply ...................thanks from the REAL INCARNATIO

The processor has
4x 3400 MHz
Level 1 Cache 4x 128 KB
Level 2 Cache 4x 512 KB
Level 3 Cache 6144 KB

I don´t think that the 6GB ram be a problem, in fact I think the 64 Bit OS could make a problem with the program compatible, but normally it runs without any problems 32 Bit programs. But if I use a 32 Bit OS I don´t need 6GB ram.
First of all, what's the budget of your build? Second, what are you going to be doing with this build?

For $20 more, I would buy this processor instead of your AMD, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819115202. I prefer Intel over AMD any day. Switching your CPU would require switching your motherboard, which can be a problem because I will need your budget.

For about the same price, I would go with this video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814130433

(You can tell that I'm not a big ATI fan..)

And nothing is wrong with that RAM, it would be compatible, the motherboard supports DDR3 and the chip is a 64-bit compatible chip. Personally, I would go with a different brand however. If you actually want to spend money on Windows 7, go for it. If it was me, hell no I wouldn't pay for it. Not because it's bad, Windows 7 is actually very good, but why pay $100+ when you can just crack the OS?

Also, can you provide me a link to the RAM you plan on buying?
I think it would be a overall good setup. just make sure everything is compatable. I think your powersupply is enough watz there wont be a problem.
@ElephantShoe

My budget is about 700 euros that are 1050 Dollar.
I need this computer mainly for gaming, programming, image editing...

I prefer also Intel, but in the last time I often have installed AMDs and I must say AMD is not bad, especially the price for the power, which you get is great.

And for the video card you are right, but the problem is that the seller by who I´m going to order, they haven´t a big choice at this moment and I compered to cards one for 150 euro ($225) and the other for 135 euro ($202) and the card for 150 euro is only a little bit better than this one for 135 euro so I decided to buy the cheaper one. But if you know a card form a cheap German seller, that would be great. (I also not a big fan form ATI xD)

Link for the ram

@PaNiK
Yes
sounds pretty good to me

your mine. I <3 your name
Looks like a pretty good setup to me. But i prefer Intel over AMD In my opinion
I used AMD until my CPU fried way faster than it should have. AMD has really bad overheating problems in my opinion, not just their CPUs, but their video cards as well, at least from my previous experiences.

If your budget is $1050 for just those components, you are set.

Anyways, CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819115202
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6813188046
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820145224
Video Card: Due to your issue, I'm really not sure. Maybe try a nVidia 9800 gtx or a ATI Radeon 4800 series.

I wouldn't suggest using a stock CPU cooler, I would suggest water cooling if possible, but if not, this would work: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6835233029

Should come close to your budget, unless you decide to get water cooling.
