I used to love that game as a kid!
Anyway I think my favorite game would be True Crime: Streets of LA for the original Xbox

True Crime? It's when you're a cop in LA who has to crack down a big Asian crime gang. It's fun because you can be either good cop or bad cop, which will affect the story. You can also fail a mission but still continue on the story, only it will be different.
For example there's this one mission you have to sneak through a building to track down a crime lord. If you fail, you can continue on and find yourself in a room having to fight mob gangsters. If you succeed than you fight the crime lord with all the original things you have had before.
It's an improved version of GTA, pretty much.
