Hey SF, My brother has given me his old laptop.
I Put my old laptop's harddrive in it, And it's running decent expect PCI Standard Ram Controller is missing, And quiet frankly I don't know how to fix it.

I have a HP Pavilion DV6000
Running windows vista service pack 1
If needed I can give more information.

Is the PCI Standard RAM Controller not working, or is the laptop just not recognizing the part missing?
Can you tell me the model number exactly? It would probably help more because I have an HP Pavillion dv6607nr. It is part of the same series as yours...

I think it's a driver perhaps?
