What sucks is you can use it as a cloud storage for files as well lol.

No one on this world will ever fill up 7.8+ GB with emails.....

And like your emails the files you upload belong to google..... and if they notice something special then it sucks really.

Not only email, but Privacy on the internet is a one big myth
Emails are saved in plain text probably so anyone with the acess to the database can view them....

As for Google, I'm sure they save all the e-mails, I think the law says they have to save every bit of information that goes through their servers for at least two years. (So does your ISP, you parents could ask for a print out of every site, Google search ect. If they wanted) For legal reasons.
