Windows vista really is not that good. It messes up a lot, but some people are stuck with it... I currently use vista, and it gives me lots of problems.
I use Vista...has some weird things going on but I don't really care. No need to upgrade as of now.
I have it, Theres NOTHING good about it its just terrible.
Vista is not really good OS in my opinion.
I'd recommend you to use windows 7.
I use Vista and I have no problems what so ever, have been using it since it came out.
If the problem your experiencing is the permissions, you can go to msconfig (Go to start -> type "msconfig" -> when it pops up hit enter) and go to the last tab in msconfig and execute "Disable UAC". User Account Control is what makes those popups asking for permissions to do things.
