In earlier times, commodity trades took place in the physical realm. That is, a buyer and a seller had physical interactions before getting involved in a transaction. However, the virtual trading platforms has now totally altered the way trading in commodities are taking place. Virtual trade offers a series of options that were not available when adhering to the earlier approach. In addition, a commodity trader can now trade with customers spread across a wide geographical area and conclude a trade at short notice.

Now, a website has replaced 'The Brokers Shop' and all information sought by an investor to trade in commodities is displayed on a real-time basis. Hence, the development of the broker's website plays a definite role in facilitating trading, drawing new customers and retaining them. The investors' search for a broker will fructify only when they can trust the information being disseminated through a particular platform maintained by a broker. The website must convey the data with efficiency and greater functionality.

In the physical world, it is possible for an investor to inquire about the past performance and reputation of a broker. However, in the virtual world, since there is a lack of personal interaction, the website sets the criterion for selective navigation, management of pre-transaction and post-transaction information flow, privacy, redressal policies and presentation of information using the most up-to-date technology.

Literally speaking, the modern day commodity brokers have literally rewritten the rules of the trade. Most of the major players have started from humble beginnings to make it big at short notice. When one satisfied customer brought in more customers, the concept gained ground mostly through word of mouth than through any advertisement.

That said, your website lacks background, funding and legal information. The only contact information is a phone number. Until and unless there are reputable institutions and individuals linked to your website, I remain skeptical of its authenticity.
