I want to use a personal picture in a forum but when i load it up i get an error telling me it is too large. What program can i use to change it? How do i change it?

Which program can i use to do it.....I have a couple available; but i'm not familiar with using them. :S

Ah. Ok, I don't know how to do it in Photoshop, I do know how to do it in GIMP, Paint will be a bit harder.
Ok, if you open it in Paint, you'll have to go to the Options (one of them on the bar) and find Sketch & Skew and keep bringing it down.
(Keep in mind I'm doing this from memory, so it might not be exact)

I'm going to go online and get gimp...i had the disk once, but gave it away. it was like version 1.1.0 ?? and i just never used it.....

Instead of installing a fully fledged graphics package, Its probably a better idea to upload the image to an image bank like tinypic.com (or attach it here if its small enough) and then telling us the url along with the size and dimensions the image needs to be. Then one of us will resize it.
