PC Problems
#1
Well, our power went out about 3 times today, and my computer shut itself

down... (Right when I was in the middle of theming too). I tried to bring it back up, and it came

up with a blank screen.

After we DID get it back up, I went and made a backup of

EVERYTHING. My passwords, extensions, folders & files. And wrote it to CD

One

problem is, I was going through deleting things I didn't need, and I deleted one folder called

Documents... Well it happens all my bookmarks were stored there. So when I opened Firefox, I

had NO Bookmarks. There was no way to recover them either Sad
So I am left with absolutely

no bookmarks Sad

If the power goes off ONE MORE TIME, my computer is shot :'(

Did you try a data recomery program, such as

ontrack's?

About the backups, I never make any backups, as I have 2 UPS (one for each

PC), that my homebuilt PC pwn all default machines (Dell, eMachines, Compaq) in reliability,

as well as the fact that my files are way too big for DVDs. Tongue

What do you need by 2 TB????

I'm having PC problems myself - It

seems the motherboard I got is an fault to. So I have to get an new one. So the computer just

shutsdown whenever it wants to. Quite anoying really.

That taste anything like 7 UP?

I

backup everything that cant be replaced. I dont bother with the operating system and

programs, only my own creations.

@CraKter, did you check your PSU? Might want to check the

problem a bit more, and then only replace what's needed.

@MiNT, stop being a *******.
