Hey guys, does anyone know when the Chromium OS distro is going to be released? It looks amazing but I can't find a release date anywhere.

There is a linux distro called xpud, which is pretty much the same as chrome os is is going to be.

Most open source projects are open source from the moment of their conception. Open source is more than just sharing your source code. It's an entire state of mind; a philosophy, if you will. Case in point, the Chromium OS team's Git (version control) repository is public and available for viewing here. That's the trunk anyways, which means that's the code being currently worked on.
