I only heard that he wanted to get the HWID, but that's a tutorial to use it for a secure login. Getting the HWID is easy though.

Never heard of it, but with a domain like that I don't see it becoming popular, it would only be used for this application as it's main purpose really. Although when it dies, so does your application, unless you have a way to cope with changing the site it gets the HWID from somehow, but that would raise a security flaw in the application as well in consequence.
