Free Transfer + Extension Domain?

I saw this a while back but didnt see a use for it. Some Domain Registrars offer free transfers for domain names and then extend that free time period transfer for another year.

Example:
mydomain.com hosted with X.com
Transfered to Y.com and it cost $0.00
Whatever time i had left with my old host gets transfered. (6 Months)
And the new host gives me 1 year free. (12+6 Months)

I personally saw this but cant find that registrar again so if anyone knows some place that offers something close to this it would really help.

Last time I checked, Netfirms offers free PUSH-OUTs, so your domain has be registered with them.
The company itself sucks though.

I have used Netfirms and they are actually okay, i don't see why they suck?
