Sound goes muffled and crackily when downloading, any idea why? I recently reinstalled Windows 7 and I assume I have the right drivers.

You probably don't have the right drivers. Make sure you search your motherboard model number followed by drivers.

I think I do, but usually the sound just won't work, it just seems, the more I download, the worse the sound gets.

Run a dxdiag and read if any errors have appeared under the sound tab.

I just formatted, used the same drivers and everything's fine. Must've had malware. Thanks for help, guys.
