In late 1950s and early 1960s the first computer network was developed for a special purpose like SABRE (an air reservation system) and AUTODIN l (a defense command and control system). Early 1960s manufacturers had begun to use semiconductor technology in commercial products, conventional batch-processing and time-sharing system in a large scale. Time sharing system allow multiple user to share a things through computer.
