Slacking in SEO

I've noticed that SF doesn't take advantage of some of the options for optimizing MyBB (e.g. the Google SEO plugin). I'm sure Omni knows how, so I'm curious as to why he hasn't.

Yes I do my own SEO work. The only thing I actually want from that plugin is the sitemap but I plan to make one for 1.6x. I feel that plugin is too bulky and I fear it not working when 1.6x is released. That will create more problems than is solves.

That's true. Developing your own plugins definitely makes it much easier to keep them updated.
