I would be quite happy to have a neutral rep. Actually i would not mind if it was - or +. Actually just yesterday it was -2 i believe.
I guess i did not make myself clear enough. And i often am guilty of this.

You can do a lot more than get the IP address of the user; You can grab the useragent.etc from the user as well; here' is my implementation I did a while back- I'll post the source later.

I used a few functions I wrote myself for another script; but I basically used
PHP Code:
$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']
$_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] 

To get all of the information; I plan on putting in IP-geolocation later...but I'm a lazy person.

When you use it as in my signature the output will be the complete source code of your PHP file, which is BAD
