Simple GFX help, please?
#1
Hello.
I'm making a menu for my website, and I want to remove the dark red background on this. Here's a sample button:

I have photoshop/paint/picasa. Is there any way to simply remove the red background so all I'm left with is the button/text? I tried the lasso/magic wand in Photoshop (although I'm not completely sure what they do). I'm bad at graphics; any assistance, please? I have about 7 images to do this to, so please don't just do it for me. Thanks

There is actually a very simple way to do this with PS.
Take a look at this screenshot

Just drag the slider enough to the right to remove everything that's red.

Or you could use the Magic Eraser and have it done with one click. If it deletes to much or to little you can adjust the tolerance at the top. This is in Photoshop btw;)
