Linux is much better for web hosting. Windows (IIS) fails at it. People say Windows is easier, but I tried setting up IIS and a DNS server, but it took me hours to work it out.

I would never ever use windows for hosting.
I always use Linux/unix for hosting.

Look at it this way:
If you need ASP, use Windows. If you don't, use Linux.
