For a processor to run constantly is normal, especially if it's processor 0 lol Smile

Quote:the fan is always running on my laptop

There's always more probability in overheating with netbooks and laptops as the airspace between components is much more crammed, in that small lightweight plastic they suffocate your computer in.

Services? Don't disable any of them before you check for your currently running processes, for anything that you may not need first.

Download and install CCleaner if you don't already have it: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Please provide the startup.txt file in your next post by following the provided instructions below:
  • Startup Programs (startup.txt) -
    • CCleaner Tool Icon > Startup option
    • Click on the Save to text file button in the bottom right

See as far as i'm concerned, you don't need ANYTHING from this list to be running on startup. Unless you really want or need Windows Defender that could be turned off as well. I really don't find it very effective anyways.

Type in msconfig in the start menu, hit enter, go to the startup tab, and uncheck these things from startup.
