Alright Breshie, enjoy them Smile I found another music producer in the style of Ambience that inspired one of those tracks I have on Soundcloud, I think it's called Oversight.

I'll check out your hardstyle tracks now and let you know what I think. You using Ableton or what?

I use both FL Studio, and Ableton, I have a paid version of Cubase, but it sucks, and i've tried others but FL and Ableton are the most user friendly .

Edit: If you want to learn a thing or two, just PM me, and join up to my "Music Masters" group on SF Smile

Here's one of my favorite tracks i've done most recently: http://soundcloud.com/aceinfinity/ace-new-world-vision

And one of the first hardstyle tracks i've ever released: http://soundcloud.com/aceinfinity/ace-the-final

Pretty filthy drop in The Prophecies, I like what you've done there. I think if you were to work on refining some of your techniques a little more, you could make it big as a hardstyle producer. I think you could tailor your tracks around Wasted Penguinz. You seem to have a fair bit in common with a number of their tracks and they're blowing up at the moment.

Some influences would be Headhunterz, Showtek, Noisecontrollers, and a few others for my style. I've done research on the way they setup the structure of their tracks and tried to immitate it, and eventually I developed my own style which combines a bit of what I know about Electro progressions, Trance, and a few other genes of music that i've studied musical theory in. When you move around it's not just the sounds that change though, there's a huge difference in Trance progressions as opposed to Techno (which i've never done) but you can hear it.

I was actually pretty good. I'd like to hear more action leading up to the drop though.

You could be right, usually with Trance or Electro I have a melody, and build up by adding in the instruments individually with effects along the way with minor transitional work. Take this electro track I made for instance on what I mean exactly:

This is a pretty old one I made a long time ago, but it's still the basis for how I make electro and hardstyle for the most part.

It's nice but he's got the filter too high or something. The mastered channels for bass and high bands for the EQ seem out on the one I listened to. He needs to try and add more bass over the track, but other than that, it sounds good.

I've never really got into dubstep. It's way too easy to create nowadays, especially with some plugins if you have them. The generators basically do all the work for you.

I'll be sure to pass that feedback onto him. Thanks.
