When does it get to far?

As someone who conquered suicidal desires, I always try to give as much help as I possibly can. My question for you all though is, when does it go to far?
For example, if a friend is telling me he/she is going to end their life, and despite whatever I say- they hang up the phone, walk away, sign off etc saying they are going to do it. What do I do? What if they have already threatened suicide before and never went through with it?
These are my options that I can think of.

A. Loose my friendship and call my friends parents.
B. Let them go and hope the don't go through with it.
C. Call the cops.

None of those options are good.
I have in the past sprinted to a friends house on my bike, and probably saved his life- however I recently moved and can't really do that. :/

What are your thoughts?

Like everyone above me I'd have to say A and C. They might say they hate you but after they get more help they'll realize that everything you said was completely right. And when you get ready to go to sleep, you'll feel a lot better knowing that you've saved them. And even if they hadn't gone through with it before this one time could have been different, and you prevented it. We think we're helping someone, and we do all we can but sometimes they need more. If you did A,C you did the right thing and I commend you on that. I've been in this position, my friend actually thanked me after she got the help she needed. Also, some people just need to know that you really care so if these were the offers presented to you it could have been a test of your friendship. A test to see how you'd react to a situation in which they really needed you. Hope everything went well, and though your friends may say you aren't friends, just give them a little time. Time heals all wounds as well as giving them time to think.
