My 2000 Camry
#1
So, as a gift as sort of a congratulations on joining the Air Force, my dad gave me a 2000 Camry XLE Big Grin

So far, I love the car. It came stock with 4 JBL 6x9's, which sound great. It gets great gas mileage (30+ on the highway). And it's just a really reliable car.

So, just for laughs, I looked around to see if there were any body kits or anything for it, and to my surprise there are actually quite a few :O
So I've decided I'm going to save up some money, and put on a kit, cuz I think it'll look pretty cool.

Here's what the car look like now:

Here's the mods I'm planning on making:

R34 style front bumper:

These sideskirts:

Evo 5 style rear bumper:

This spoiler:

Black halo headlights:

These tail lights, but imma paint the silver parts black:

And I'm thinkin' about a two-tone paintjob, somethin' kinda like this:

And because I just know someone will come in here calling me a ricer... yes, I will be doing these mods without doing many performance mods. It's a stock 4 cylinder, and gets great gas milage, and I intend to keep it that way.
I'll probably add a short ram intake, but that's all I have planned for now.
Don't be jelly that I'll have a cool looking car that still get's good gas mileage, so please no flaming Tongue

That being said, what's everyone's opinions? Big Grin

Thanks Big Grin
What are your guys' opinions on the mods I listed? Think they will look good?
I also forgot to mention that I'll be putting some 18s with low-pro tires. So the overall wheel size should be about the same (maybe jsut slightly larger), but it'll be more rim/less tire.

I was not going to be calling you a ricer or anything but that may have been what I was thinking lol
I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse 03 and when I first got it I had plans JUST like you to get just mods like yours to make the car look nice. If I could spend money to do that I would but as of right now I just have had enough to buy amazing tires and wheels for it. I still want to get a nice front bumper, side skirts and back bumper but for right now I am thinking about just getting some really nice headlights like the ones you showed the black halo headlights if I can find something like that for my car.

Looks good and hope to see what the car looks like when your done!

Thanks for the input Big Grin

I had a quick look, and there are actually quite a few options as far as headlights go, for your car. Check out this page: link

Nice ride. Also, you got to love that MPG, gas is freaking expensive nowadays. I also like the mods that you are planning to add, hopefully it all works out.
Sorry for any typos, I usually browse the web on my iPad.
