I personally use Nortons and Malware byes both full versions (Legit not cracked) and I haven't had any problems yet. Its more of a personal preference on what AV you like but I recommend Nortons and Malware bytes because Nortons has a killer sonar detection and not much can get past that. As for Malware bytes its just there as a backup catcher and I don't mess around with it to often so I cant give much intel on that.

Anyways congrats on your re-format and I hope you get your comp protected soon, you never know what are viruses now a days.
