Do you think cellphones should be allowed in Classes?

I had classes in 9th and 10th grade were they were allowed. In 9th almost all of my teachers allowed them, and text'd themselves.

Yes they should, with the only exception being in the case of tests or exams and even then it should still be close to you. Why? Something could have happened to a family member that requires your attention right away. My old school allowed us to have a bottle of water in class yet they'd get pissed off when we asked to go to the toilet. Some school rules suck :\

I think they should be tolerated. I mean you can watch time, send sms. Of course if you would try to study with someone talking loudy that is calling someone with their cellphone it would be kinda shitty.

As you said, this would be EXTREMELY disruptive and kill the childrens minds even more.

Obviously kids will say "hell yeah" but in reality, it's a distraction.
