How to use database backups?
#1
I was reading Fragma's thread and it sparked the question "How do I use my database backups?"

So.. How do I put them to use if I ever encounter a problem? Confused

Thanks Victoire

If you are using cPanel, I can help you.

Just run queries using phpMyAdmin.

If it is for MyBB then simply go to PHPMYAdmin. Click to your mybb database on the left and drop all the tables (only do this if you've made 100% sure you have a recent backup.) Then on the top click Import and browse fro your file.
