What do you do to calm yourself down?

When I'm mad, I usually get the urge to punch a wall or something. However, I don't because if you gain some senses in your brain then you'd know you would eff your hand up and you'll regret it later. So I refrain from doing that; instead I would just listen to music, or even go out to dance (I'm a breakdancer) and let the music and my rthym of my groove wash away the stress. You get what I say, n'aw mean? Big Grin

when things aren't going my way I just either hit the gym or listen to some Enya, lol. Since i got all the motivation I need from the negative aspects that's happening, that will help me take it out in the gym plus it's healthy for you, If that doesn't work listen to some Enya, it will take your mind on a ride through the clouds, to space, into the cosmos, lol

I simply listen to my favorite music. Commonly I should be alone so I can think of things.

When I need to calm down I generally do 1 of 2 things. I feel calmer in nature environments or water. So if I ever need to calm down I usually go to my backyard and just stare at the trees or listen to the birds. Lakes are also a source of calm for me. If I'm by my house I usually just walk a little bit to a lake by my house and just watch the water.

Solitude and calmness calm me down and give me time to think and clear my mind.

Music tends to get me more upbeat/agitated, good for projects and trolling through work. Not so good for calming down Tongue

I tend to just listen to music to calm me down. A few times I took stuff that i didn't need anymore and smashed them against a brick wall in my backyard.

Well, if I'm extremely pissed off, I used to punch walls until I found a big nob on the joint of my index finger. I just take deep breaths, and walk away.

I do many things. I mainly listen to music and then browse the internet to get my mind off the subject.

Take a cold shower or smoke some weed. Works every time Smile
I have a pretty bad temper sometimes.
