Member of the Month

Do you think Member of the Month should be implemented here, on Support Forums?

MOTM is a competition of sorts, and the idea of competitive supporting seems contradictory to me.

It doesn't have to be competitive though.
Omni said a while back that this would be added, but we're yet to see anything.

I would like to see this implemented. Maybe this thread can be a reminder to consider implementing it

This would be an awesome thing but maybe not " Member of the Month. "
I would like to see " Supporter of the Month." that would be a lot better for SF.

In my opinion anyways.

I agree with Mystic, I don't think there is enough activity to host a contest. Sadly.

How much activity do you think is needed?

A quick look at the forum stats says it all:

Posts per day: 88.24
Threads per day: 7.89

That's easily enough activity to hold something like this.

I think you're need like 4x that activity. MOTM would be to FIND who was the best that month and recognize them for it...with the activity we have it isn't hard to find them.

I'm not saying we shouldn't do it, but I think it is too soon.

I also suggest that the award should be named as Supporter of the Month
