Web Traffic through forum signatures. [FOR NEWBS]

I thought of this, myself. Nobody showed me, this. Honestly

What you will need?

• A picture signature.
  
• A website/hosting.
  
• Being a member on a huge forum. (Such as HackForums)
  

Step 1:

Upload your desired signature, to your website.

Step 2:

Now, get the link and go to your desired forums, signature. In my case, a MyBB forum.

User CP > Change Signature > [IMG]Picture Link[/IMG]

Step 3:

Post a lot, and make threads that will become popular. Even threads in the lounge.

I got +5000 page views in a 24 hours period!

I suppose yes, getting traffic via forum signatures isn't a bad idea. It won't get you 5,000 people though...

This is a simple and classic method. Views are also increased by using this method at other large sites, like Digital Point and V7N. As for encouraging people to sign-up, it is more effective to focus on a targeted forum audience that is related to your forum subject.

I agree that advertising your website link in your signature can be beneficial, as i myself sometimes click them.. so it obviously works. As long as no harm is being done or rules broken, then go for it. Get your website link, or anchor texts in as many populated areas as possible.. even 1 more visitor, or potential customer could click.. better than nothing. It's just a matter of time before you find a customer/visitor who might well recommend 5 others, and they recommend 5 others each etc.. Yes it goes viral and snowballs.. well that's the aim right!!!
