Before commencing to this PL:

1. Familiarise yourself with the layout or structure of the classroom.
2. Familiarise yourself with tutorials available, read through them once so you can recall and easily locate information when needed on PLs.
3. Research thoroughly and preview your post several times before posting your PL to ensure:
   • You have made the best possible answers.
   • The layout is neat with effective use of colour, indentations and other formatting options (bold, underline, size, font etc).
4. Ensure you have at least 1 week free ahead of time so this PL can be done at your own speed but with minimal interruptions. Please take your personal life into consideration before starting the PL.

Doing the above will make your learning experience much easier and more enjoyable, and help the teachers out as well.

This PL will aim to teach you all the fundamentals of HijackThis and basic infection removal. This will be in 4 portions slightly increasing in difficulty as you progress. After this exercise is completed with one, final and entire response with everything correct, you may move on in 24 hours. This PL will be used as a reference for future PLs. This will prepare you with most of the knowledge required for HJT logs analysis and infection removal.

Please do one portion at a time! A teacher will review the first part and then inform you to continue to the next ones.
