Do you think this is possible?

So i wan't to create an energy source. I know this sounds crazy, scientifically, energy cannot be created. T

But i thought of a way to provide energy, i'm just a bit skeptical about it. So this is very hard to explain but i'll do my best. Basically you'd attatch a bunch of magnets on one side of a circle, than attatch magnets facing away from each other on the other. This would cause the circle to spin. Here's a painting for you.

So do you think it's possible?

You would need an off angle magnet to provide forward momentum, and then you would not get the circle to spin when it comes back around.
In short, it can't happen.

I suck at science but I think if it was that simple then someone would've created it already Tongue
Good idea though

Good idea, though as D3 already explained..It's not really possible.

Hahaha my friends tried the exact same thing for the science fair, to be honest is very much possible, but the error i saw my friends did was that the magnets were not strong, you can't use simple 5cm long magnets, it'll need to be stronger than that.

but your idea is worth trying, just make sure the magnets are strong.

I'd love to hear the outcome of this if what the user above me is saying is true.

Good luck OP.
