On Topic, was/is there a forum that you idolize(d)?

Not idolize but I do have a few I admire. DP is one of them mainly because Shawn is 100% his own man when it comes to admins. He's a good role model for a forum owner imho but too often he's used as an example to copy instead of emulate. Same with HF. Everyone sees all the wannabe HF clones and even SF clones now too. FatWallet.com is actually very high on my list too. I was one of his first members and Tim has turned a simple forum into a multi-million dollar full-fledged website.

How long have you lived in Vegas and do you like it?

5 years and I love it.

What's your favorite hotel or resort of Las Vegas?

I really enjoy the local Station Casinos. I have lots of favorites in the city though. The Encore comes to mind for most luxurious and if I was wealthy it would be the place I would stay. The hotel is amazing. Mandalay Bay is really nice as well. I've been in most of the casinos and many are just beautiful.

Always wondered how much money do you make from HF in a day, week or year?

I won't disclose that information.

What would your favourite job be, if you could pick any in the world?

A lawyer. Unfortunately I didn't have the resources to go to college.

Are you a binge drinker? ;)

No. I drink fairly often but normally it's just 1-2 drinks. I do get hammered probably more than I should.

Living in Vegas, do you hit the casinos often?

Yes. In Vegas they are the entertainment centers. They have the buffets, restaurants, bowling alleys, lounges, clubs, movie theatres, and of course gambling. I do gamble often if that was really what you're asking. I win sometimes and yes sometimes I lose. Biggest win was $9k.

Would you ever consider me to help you build websites?

No. I do all the work myself.

Have you ever though of re designing the Witza site to look a bit more detailed?

Yes but it's just not likely to happen. It's a very low-priority. I have other very important projects I'm working on.

Other then Hackforums what are some of your other successful or semi successful forums?

I had a big Animal Crossing forum I sold. Then there was Democracyforums.com which I mentioned and a PSP forum too which was probably my biggest early success. I had thousands of users and 300k posts by the time I sold it. I've created a lot of forums where at 10-50k posts I sold it.

What values do you instill in your children?

To be good people that are respectful, honest, and kind to others.

Who has influenced your sense of humour?

I think we all get our humor from our family. I know I do. There is a lot of charisma in my family.

What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to things your staff members do on your various forums?

Hmm...don't really have one. Staff would know if I had a problem and if they don't correct they get removed. I've not had a huge problem with this. I guess simple power tripping bugs me. I'm the only guy allowed that luxury as it's my site.

Where / how did you learn everything that you know now?

Self-taught from books and the internet. When I was a teen I would just use computers as much as possible. This was long before the internet but I ran a BBS with a 1200 baud modem. In 1995 when I started to use the internet first thing I wanted to do was have my own site. I bought domains and started to build. I've always been a quick learner able to suck up information. I'm getting older so the quickness is slowing down but I still love to learn. It just doesn't stick as easy. And I have no college or technical school training. I'm a simple High School graduate.

How much money have you made off of your forums? If you don't mind me asking

I won't disclose my income but it might surprise you how much it is. Remember I had a video game retail store with a popular website for sales too. I'm not rich though. At least not yet.
