Is domaining dead with the new .TLDs?
#1
I few years ago I was thinking about selling domains, but with the new TLDs coming out I feel a shift in the domain market is imminent, but will it eventually kill the domain selling business? Have any of you seen a shift?

Not a bit. You can buy some really nice domains to make a business' domain stand out really nice, such as http://hackforu.ms/ and http://supportforu.ms/

But when the domain registrars reserve the domain and put a hefty price tag on it... That kills it.

How often do companies go out of their way to do that though?

Uh most of the time. Most registars park the domains with "unique" names.
