A simple "Do you want to be my girlfriend" won't matter to her if she really is into you.

I was in the same dilemma as you before, where I thought that was just bland and stupid. When the time came, I just blurted it out lol. Luckily it worked for me

If you're afraid of rejection, then you won't get anywhere in life. You have one life to live. Take chances and live it up. Do what you think is right and do everything you can now as a young adult.

Well you got many tips here, but what I think is the most important;

1. Don't be shy.
2. Try to make her laugh.
3. Be natural, (NOT perhaps yourself, but be there on earth, not somewhere else.)
4. Make sure that she notices that you wanna be there!

You do realize if you're too blunt with the girl, she will feel pressured and almost always say "no," even if she does like you back.
