Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Lower graphics mod (Steam)?

Well, i recently have noticed that the lower my graphics settings are the faster a game loads. So, to avoid having to miss the first round of a search and destroy game due to slow loading i lowered my graphics settings to the minimum. But, it still loads pretty slow. I was wondering if there was a mod which replace the skin files or something like that to make the graphics even less detailed. This would help me to combat slow loading speeds and lag.
