If you searched and could not find anything, read up on the subject and make sure you understand it to details. If your teacher asks you, be honest and tell him/her that you were not able to find anything, BUT, try to give your view on things. Start a sentence with ''I can imagine that...'' I did that for my exam back in school, pulled of an A even though my facts were not all correct, but because I was able to use the things I knew to make up an idea of what might have happened.
