Well if I ever get Windows 8 then I won't need to buy an Xbox 360, and that's great because i'm sure the price for Windows 8 will be jacked up even more for that feature now...

I bet the Xbox community wouldn't have provided them with the rights to do that just as a feature on it's own. Microsoft would have had to strike a deal with Xbox for that, because now they won't be selling the full amount of Xbox 360 consoles, everyone will just buy a Windows 8 OS instead.
