Something I am writing for my English homework.

I have wrote this down on paper, but I decided to type it up (What I have done so far, for you guys at Support Forums, to see what you guys think of it) Please note, this is note finished.

My Homework has to write a critical essay on the theme or a character of the book, just now all I have done is really an introduction, and a little bit of a review on a small part of the overall theme; please give me some advise, thanks.

State of Fear by Michael Crichton

Introduction
The book that I have decided to write about is State of Fear wrote by Michael Crichton, more specifically I shall be going to write about its' theme, Global Warming.

Brief Summary
Although the book is in some sense "geeky" or "highly intellectual" it covers some very important aspects, in a very bizarre way, the author. Michael Crichton, has turned, ingeniously, an "informative book" into a fast paced thriller, a very interesting read.

Paragraph #1 - General Theme
The book theme is on Global Warming and starts very differently to the way it ends, it starts about when a physicists dies, and then swiftly and intelligently changes it to a law suit against the United States government, ironically named "The Vanuatu" law suit, (Vanuatu being a French controlled island; inhabited in 1880 by the French in 1880, the same years as global warming was suggested and recorded).
Then the theme takes another twist, this time stopping a radical environmentalist group sending tsunamis towards California (where the lawsuit is currently happening), Hawaii, Australia, The Solman Islands and such countries.

Paragraph #2 - More Detail.
The book takes you everywhere from Los Angeles, to the Solmon islands an France in between!
The theme is truly unique, how he mixed science with thrilling action.
The theme of the story starts in Paris, France when a semi-young physicist dies, by getting paralyzed by a rare Australian Octopus (when angry turns blue and released a paralyzing poison), and then threw into a river, by a young woman, whom when asked, said the man was drunk.

Paragraph #3 - Global Warming- Introduction (UNFINISHED)
Now, we get to the exciting part of the theme; forgetting the lawsuit of now.
In this part they introduce new characters, Professor Kenner, PhD, Sajong Thapa, PhP, George Morton, Evans, Drake and Sarah (Main character, there are others).
Also in this "part" there is:
-Someone faking their own death,
-Two people being paralyzed,
-A car crash and
-an attempted murder on Sarah and Peter Evans.
